Facilities on Offer

Koinonia has a wide range of conferencing, chapel and leisure-time facilities, and general amenities available.

We cater for small or large visiting parties, and arrange our venues and amenities according to your group's individual requirements.

General Facilities

Kitchen and Dining Areas

The kitchen supplies food to catered guests, and meals can be taken at the Dining Centre.

Disabled Facilities

Special facilities for handicapped guests are available. These include two en-suite disabled bathrooms.

Pay Phones

Public pay phones are available for use.

Meeting Facilities

The Poynton Centre

Seats up to 150 people
Can be used as a chapel.
May be provided as part of accommodation bookings for larger groups.

The DT Hudson Hall

Seats up to 50 people.
This facility is provided to guests only as part of a Hilltop booking.

The Emoyeni Hall

Seats up to 90 people.
Provided only as part of an Emoyeni booking.

Valley View Auditorium

Seats up to 50 people.
Provided exclusively as part of a Valley View booking.

Leisure Facilities & Activities

Outdoor Space & Volleyball Court

A large volleyball court exists near the Valley View buildings. Koinonia's spacious expanses of green can be used for sports and leadership training by independent groups.

Table Tennis

Table tennis can be played at all conference venues, and the equipment can be hired for a nominal fee.

Surrounding Areas

The area around Koinonia is picturesque and contains a number of walks, both marked and unmarked, which may be embarked upon by guests who choose to do so. Within walking distance are a number of culinary and crafts-orientated attractions, and a paintball arena for our more adventurous guests.
